Course and Sponsors: Tee Sponsorship At Eastern Sward, we have limited membership as we have a nine hole golf course. We use two tee positions at each hole to complete the full course. As such our members are restricted to one Time-sheet, whereas a full 18 hole course can have a Time-sheet for hitting off Front & Back tees simultaneously. With this limited membership, we "struggle" for in-coming funds to fully maintain our course. However, we have enticed many Social Clubs to enjoy our course and facilities on most Sunday mornings, which does help to increase revenue for the club. With an increase in on-going expenses we need to encourage Tee Sponsorship as an additional means of income to the club. The Social Clubs we have attracted range from RSL Clubs, to Company Social Clubs, and consequently a diverse range of golfers pass through this Club each week. Additionally, our Associate members have regular intra-club events every month or so. This means that current Tee Sponsors are recognised with a sign erected at their appointed Tee location. We have several of the possible eighteen Tee Sponsors gaining this exposure to the Golfers passing through our Club. Additionally we have a Sponsors Board, where Business cards can be stored for potential customers, alongside our bar inside the clubrooms. We are planning a "Sponsor's Day" within the next 12 months also, which will enable Tee Sponsors to bring selected clientele to also enjoy our facilities.
